C.J. Denmark

Managing Director

C.J. Denmark is a Managing Director at Taylor Street Partners and is a member of the Investment Committee. He is responsible for leading the overall investment strategy and execution of lower middle market private equity fund commitments and equity co-investments.

Prior to joining Taylor Street Partners, he was a member of the Small Business Investment Team at Siguler Guff & Company where he focused on originating, executing, and managing lower middle market direct credit and private equity investments. Previously, C.J. was a member of the Global Private Finance organization at Barings, an affiliate of MassMutual, where he was responsible for due diligence, deal execution, and monitoring of first lien, mezzanine, and private equity investments. C.J. began his career in the energy industry where he focused on identifying and resolving economic inefficiencies and policy issues in wholesale electricity markets.

C.J. earned a B.A. in Economics from Eckerd College and a M.A. in Economics from Boston University.

A.J. Oleksak

Managing Director

A.J. Oleksak is a Managing Director at Taylor Street Partners, Chief Investment Officer of the Family Office, and a member of the Investment Committee. He works closely with the investment teams and leads a diverse set of investment, operational and client service focused activities across the organizations.

Prior to joining the organization in 2021, he was a co-founder of the Middle Market Private Credit strategy and a contributor to the Private Equity team at HIMCO, an affiliate of The Hartford. Previously, A.J. specialized in first lien, mezzanine and private equity investing as a member of the Global Private Finance organization at Barings, an affiliate of MassMutual. He began his career as an Analyst at TD Bank where he completed the Bank’s risk management association credit training program. A.J. is President of the Longmeadow Montessori International Board of Directors and was previously involved with the American Cancer Society, TD Bank’s iCare program, and The Hartford’s Playbook for Young Learners.

A.J. earned a B.S.B.A. in Economics and Finance and an M.B.A from the University of Hartford.

Drew Davis

Managing Director

Drew Davis is a Managing Director at Taylor Street Partners, President of the Family Office, a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Investment Committee. He oversees investment activities, provides management oversight and leads strategic initiatives across the organizations.

Prior to joining in 2011, Drew was with Wallace Capital, where he was responsible for underwriting and originating of real estate transactions. Prior to that he spent six years at a private commercial lender specializing short term debt financing, and five years managing residential acquisitions for a production builder and real estate development company. Drew is a former board member of HAP Housing and serves as Chapter Forum Officer for YPO. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Westmass Area Development Corporation.

Drew received a B.A. in Political Science from Saint Michael’s College.

Pete Klementon

Managing Director

Pete Klementon is a Managing Director at Taylor Street Partners and is Chief Financial Officer at the Family Office. He oversees the finance, administration and operational activities across the organizations.

Prior to joining in 2017, Pete was Vice President at Landmark Partners, where he was responsible for tax reporting, investment monitoring and investor reporting to the firm’s diverse investor base. He started his career at Arthur Andersen and later PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a tax manager focusing on compliance and consulting for corporate and passthrough entities.

Pete is a certified public accountant and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Hartford and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.

Pat Sallet

Vice President

Pat Sallet is a Vice President at Taylor Street Partners. He is responsible for supporting the overall investment strategy and execution of lower middle market private equity fund commitments and equity co-investments.

Prior to joining Taylor Street Partners, he worked in direct lending at Ares Management Corporation & Riverside Credit Solutions, where he executed and managed investments in lower middle market businesses. Previously, he worked in corporate development & strategy at Lantheus Holdings, Inc., where he drove strategic initiatives and growth opportunities. Pat began his career at Citizens Bank in the Leveraged Finance & Debt Capital Markets groups after completing Citizen's credit training and rotational program.

Pat holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Economics and Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Kristen Shoop

Vice President

Kristen Shoop is a Vice President at Taylor Street Partners and is Chief of Staff at the Family Office. She manages client service and communication related activities across the organizations.

Prior to joining in 2023, Kristen was an Investor Relations/Marketing Associate at Constitution Capital, where she was responsible for sales and marketing to institutional investors, consultants, and multi-family offices. Previously, she held roles on the Private Equity and Credit Risk teams at Hartford Investment Management Company. Kristen currently serves as President on the Board of Directors for the Hartford Food System.

Kristen earned an undergraduate degree in Statistics from the University of Connecticut.

Mike Klofas

Advisor

Mike Klofas is an Advisor at Taylor Street Partners, member of the Board of Directors, and a member of the Investment Committee.

Mike is retired Managing Director, Head of the Mezzanine and Private Equity Group at Barings, an affiliate of MassMutual. As a senior member of the global private finance team, he co led the firm's mezzanine and private equity strategies in North America. In addition to serving as portfolio manager of several commingled private funds, he served as President of two publicly traded closed-end investment funds. He is also on the Board of Directors for PeoplesBank.

Mike earned an undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and an M.B.A. from Babson College. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Public Accountant.

Rob Roy

Advisor

Rob Roy is an Advisor at Taylor Street Partners, member of the Board of Directors, and a member of the Investment Committee.

Rob is retired Executive Director for the Family Office, where his responsibilities included investment policy formulation and oversight, investment manager selection, and the evaluation of other operating strategies. Prior to that, he spent six years as the CFO and CIO of a privately held manufacturing company. Robert started his career as a financial controller of a successful software development firm and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Rob earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and an M.B.A. in Finance from Concordia University.
